ÇEZAR KURTI has completed the studies at the University of Tirana in Russian Language and Literature (1957) and then in Law (1964).

For many years was the professor of Modern Russian Language and the professor of Stilistic of Albanian Language. He was also for some years head of the Department of Russian Language and Literature.

His more than 40 years of translation and writing experience resulted in a number of works of English, Italian, Russian and French authors translated into Albanian and in a number of works edited or written in Albanian language.
